Diablo immortal update1/19/2024 ![]() All clan, warband, and social group affiliations will carry over. Players will be able to customize their appearance upon making the change, and Paragon points will also be reset. Now Playing: Diablo Immortal Video ReviewĬharacters that undergo a Class Change will have placeholder gear with an equivalent rank to the gear equipped by the character prior to the Class Change, and gear equipped by the previous version of the character will be placed in a player's inventory. Kind of makes us all think this is a "get paid and get outta dodge" kind of situation especially since there is very limited "forward looking" comments being made that are not incredibly vague and non-committal.By clicking 'enter', you agree to GameSpot's Comments on that have been almost nonexistent despite the huge backlash. Y'know? Not just "Here is another Helliquary Boss that you will be unable to fight because your CR is too low as you have not paid enough money to earn a seat on the ride."īut y'know.the Predatory Monetization is the thing that really needs to be addressed. Where is this game going? What big features do the developers hope to produce? PvP Focus? PvE Focus? Something entirely different? Can we expect big "shake ups" to the content or is this formula basically what we are getting? Are other classes expected in the future?.Some thing to actually get excited about. However, I think the Community also wants to know that this game has "staying power" in the form of some kind of development timeline or aspirations for the future.but nothing has been said about this at all aside from the "Class Change" thing that was announced forever ago. People want to see you guys addressing the major concerns: Monetization, Content Updates, Balance, and Bug Fixes. If you guys want to build anticipation, or give people notice, that is fine but y' had better be actually worth it. Issue, I think, is that those saying "its an announcement for announcement" are anticipating that the notes will be a letdown. ![]() More frequent updates, or at least some kind of community engagement, would be preferable. ![]() And I don't think I'm sticking around and waiting for the 100 hilts I'll get in my mail as an appology. This post is absolutely offensive to the very small community that played at launch and is still here. I am getting more and more ashamed every day that I supported the way you're handling everything about this game. But I think this post was the last straw for me that will make me uninstall that game and refund the couple hundred I spent on it. I honestly wouldn't be pissed off if there was nothing and you just dropped the patch and then people datamined what was in it, because then it would just be more of the same: "We're ashamed at the game we released, we have nothing good to say so we'll keep absolutely quiet and hope you guys don't notice us.". Why the hell are you even making this post then? Either give us patch notes or continue saying nothing like you guys have been doing for a month and a half now. Nor about the gem cap, or legendary cap, or almost any other cap really, with the notable exception of battle pass cap and forged amber cap.Īm I the only one absolutely infuriated about this reddit post? Despite how much money I spent on DI and the things I like about it, this game has agruably been the biggest disaster in Blizzard's garden for the last 2 decades, we're supposedly getting a huge patch just over 24h hours from the time this post was created and instead of patch notes we're getting a post that you'll post patch notes some time later this week? D3 informed you that those movement speed bonuses can only stack to up to 25% explicitly in a tooltip. Still agree with this, they are frustrating. The hardcaps in D.Immortal are really really frustrating and counterintuitive. Skill bonuses are also uncapped, just like in D3. Bottled Hope works like that, and indeed Bottled Hope is uncapped. BSJ is not situational / temporary, you don't have to trigger an activation condition to receive the speed bonus. Percentage value is adjusted, but it works by the same principle. Skills have to be actively used, the effects on set bonuses or passives rely on some triggers so not permanent either. Just like in DI, permanent movement bonuses are capped, and temporary movement bonuses can go arbitrarily higher. Compass Rose and any other legendaries with movement stat affix all fall under this cap. Not just boots + paragon, all item stat affixes giving movement speed passively. ![]()
